Seek the Lord

"6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon." Isaiah 55:6-7

Enter in and explore the world of the Bible. Search out the different topics that can be found in scriptures. Examine the biblical scriptures, bible verses, and various aspects of God and Jesus. Find out who God is, and who you are in Jesus Christ. I believe God intended for everyone to be able to sit down and read and understand the Bible just like you can with your favorite book. I also believe that God can have several layers of messages in one section of scripture, or spread that message across several books of the scriptures. Just like in some of the great literature such as the Shakespearian plays, and books like Moby Dick. It is like going on one big treasure hunt. God will be with you on your treasure hunt giving you various insights or directing you where you can find insights and answers as you read His word.

Topics

- The topics are being created as I study the Bible. This section is turning into more of a topical concordance. What I'm hoping to accomplish with this is to put together scriptures with the same words and see the various themes appear. The verses will be fully written out.

Words that are highlighted and underlined are linked to definitions. You can either click the link or hover your mouse over the word for a short quick definition. You can hover your mouse over highlighted non-linked words that are mainly pronouns to find out who or what is being talked about. Sometimes it is difficult to know who he refers to without having to resort back to your bible to look at the previous verse.

I know this has already been done with many topical Bibles and concordances. To do this is a lot of work, but it does help one to get to know the Bible much better. God might show me something that I could have other wise missed.

Research

- These are a few of the sites that I have found very good information at. References at the top are large sites that I have found to have very good information and are recommended for studying the Bible. These sites will mainly be reference sites, and ones that I have come to trust over the years.

The sites listed under scripture topics had articles that I felt explained the topic well, and/or have uncovered another layer of understanding. Please note that I do not have time to read through all the sites, but try to view a sample of pages before posting it here. The article I post to I agree with, but somewhere else in the site they may post some false doctrine. Always reference your Bible when reading anything, even on this site. I don't want to lead anyone astray, and will do my best not to.
